Established a water turbine department at Denkisha, a privately owned DMW run by Heitaro Nakajima that engaged in civil engineering work for hydroelectric and thermal power plants (Edogawa Factory: Sekiguchi Suidocho, Koishikawa Ward, Tokyo City).

Dengyosha Motor Manufacturing DMW, Ltd. was divided into a water turbine and generator division and an industrial machinery division that produced pumps, blowers, diesel engines, etc. The former was taken over by Tokyo Shibaura Electric Co., Ltd. MATERIALITY 01 Reducing the Environment impact of business activities
We will contribute to the realization of a sustainable Social Responsibility by accurately understanding the impact that our business activities, products, and services have on the Environment, as well as the impact that the Environment has on us.

PICKUP ACTION Reducing CO2 emissions
Our CO2 emissions from our business activities in fiscal 2023 will be 1,762 tons*, a 9.4% decrease from fiscal 2022, and unit emissions also decreased by 1.1 percentage points.
Going forward, we will continue to actively promote the use of renewable energy and the replacement of facilities with highly efficient equipment, in an effort to reduce CO2 emissions.The CO2 emission coefficient is based on the "Ministry Ordinance on Calculating Greenhouse Gas Emissions Associated with the Business Activities of Specified Emitters." The CO2 emission coefficient associated with electricity use was the "Emissions coefficient by electric utility" for each fiscal year, based on the Ministry of the Environment's Greenhouse Gas Emissions Calculation, Reporting, and Disclosure System.

PICKUP ACTION Energy conservation and waste reduction
Our total energy input for fiscal year 2023 will be 37,673 GJ*, a decrease of 8.8% from the previous fiscal year, and unit emissions also decreased by 23 points.
At the Mishima Plant, we use energy such as electricity, gasoline, diesel, and kerosene in the entire production process, from product development and design to manufacturing and shipping. In addition, the kitchen facilities of our employee cafeteria also use energy such as electricity and gas. More than 90% of our total energy input is electrical energy.Energy input was calculated from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Standard Calorific Value and Carbon Emission Coefficient by Energy Source."

PICKUP ACTION Energy-efficient product development
Our main products, large pumps and blowers, are often used in facilities that operate for long periods of time, and account for a large portion of the electricity used by those facilities. As electricity rates rise year by year, this leads to soaring maintenance costs and the emission of large amounts of greenhouse gases.
We are working to develop highly efficient pumps and blowers to reduce our customers' maintenance costs and achieve carbon neutrality.

We will utilize our unique technology to create better products and provide Social Responsibility with safe and useful products and services through innovation.

PICKUP ACTION Strengthening the seawater desalination business
Energy saving by DeROs®
Contributing to cost reductionDMW's " DeROs® "energy recovery equipment for seawater desalination is a low-noise, highly efficient device that reuses the energy of high-pressure concentrated seawater using a piston. It is the first of its kind in Japan and boasts the world's highest level of efficiency, and when combined with a high-efficiency RO pump, it improves energy-saving performance. DeROs® has been introduced in plants both in Japan and overseas, contributing to reduced running costs.
We believe that the high energy recovery efficiency of DeROs® can be utilized in a wider range of situations, and in December 2024 we announced DeROs-E®, which is tailored for low-pressure water treatment.

We will strive to secure and develop human resources who can work globally, and will also work to establish a foundation for improving the skills of each employee.

PICKUP ACTION Promoting health and productivity management
On March 10, 2025, we were certified as a "Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation (Large Corporation Category)." This system is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi, and recognizes outstanding health and productivity management. We will continue to strive to create a workplace Environment where people can work with peace of mind, with improving health literacy and "health and productivity management" as important management issues.
MATERIALITY 05 Enhancing the Governance system
We have established the " DMW Group Code of Conduct " as the basic rules for Compliance . By making these Codes widely known and thoroughly implemented, we strive to further strengthen our risk and Compliance management system.

PICKUP ACTION Compliance training
The DMW Group Code of Conduct stipulates understanding and compliance with business standards and the elimination of human rights violations. Compliance training in fiscal 2024 was conducted for all employees to raise awareness and solidify knowledge.
We will continue to strengthen our training and promote stable business operations through risk management.
