Disaster agreement with Mishima City

We have concluded an "Agreement on Cooperation in the Event of a Large-Scale Disaster" with Mishima City. Under this agreement, in the event of a large-scale disaster such as an earthquake or wind or flood disaster in Mishima City, we will provide a "supply of water for daily use" from wells installed at our Mishima facility, as well as a "supply of electricity" from solar power generation equipment, at the request of Mishima City.

Communication with local residents (DMW Summer Festival)

The Mishima Plant has been holding the "DMW Summer Festival" every August since 1985 as a place for employees, their families, and local residents to interact. Various stalls are set up by each workplace and partner company, a "shagiri" (musical accompaniment) performance is held by children's groups from the neighboring town, events for children, street performances, raffles, and more.

Environment beautification activities

Every year, many employees at the Mishima Plant proactively take part in volunteer activities to improve and clean up the Environment at Rakujuen Park, a city park in Mishima, organized by the Mishima District Environment Conservation Promotion Council.
Additionally, we regularly patrol the area around our workplace every month and pick up litter on the sidewalks and roads, among other efforts to keep the area Environment.

Cleaning activities being carried out at Rakujuen and our head office, branches and sales offices

Our company actively participates in cleanup activities around Rakujuen (Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture), Tokyo Route 421 Higashi-Shinagawa Maruko Line (Ikegami Street), branch offices, and construction sites across the country.

Partnership agreement with Azul Claro Numazu

We have a partnership agreement with Azul Claro Numazu, a professional soccer team whose home town is Numazu City, adjacent to Mishima City. The team's activities, such as "contributing to regional revitalization, Developing People, Empowering Growth, and prosperous urban development," are in line with our company's corporate philosophy, and we concluded the partnership agreement because we believe it will lead to the revitalization of Mishima City and the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture.

DMW Contributing to a Better Society Fund

The DMW Contributing to a Better Society Fund was established as part of the company's 50th anniversary celebrations. A portion of employees' monthly salaries is set aside to be used as donations for areas affected by earthquakes, storms, floods, etc., and to provide grants to neighboring areas.

Participating in the year-end charity drive

The "Year-end Mutual Aid Fund" sponsored by the Employee Association has been held every year since 1990. In principle, our year-end Mutual Aid Fund requires donations of 1 yen and 5 yen coins so that all employees can easily and continuously participate. As a result, the amount collected is a modest 10,000 yen, which is donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society or the Ota Ward Social Responsibility Welfare Council. The 1 yen and 5 yen coins usually have few opportunities to be used, but they are very useful in this annual fundraiser.

Cooperation with the Japanese Red Cross Society's blood donation campaign

The Mishima Plant cooperates with the blood donation campaign run by the Shizuoka Prefecture Red Cross Center. It is held every May and September, and many employees participate every time.
