We strive to grow as a company that supports and strengthens the foundation of society, engaging sincerely and responsibly with all our stakeholders.

Founded over 110 years ago, DMW Corporation has supported the foundations of industrial and Social Responsibility infrastructure through water and air, contributing to the realization of a richer lifestyle. In April 2023, the company formulated its three-year "Mid-term Management Plan 2025," adopting the slogan "Powering Passion" ("Turning that passion into power"), and all employees continue to pursue sustainability for Social Responsibility and the company with passion.

I have been engaged in sales activities for a long time, and I recall that after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, nuclear power generation stopped, and the energy mix changed as idle thermal power plants were restarted and renewable energy was used. However, the demand for our products did not disappear. Recently, despite headwinds such as high energy and raw material prices, the demand for preventive measures against flood disasters, which continue to cause severe damage, is increasing due to the global movement toward a decarbonized Social Responsibility . Seeing how our products continue to be needed by Social Responsibility even in this changing business Environment , I once again realized that our management is about "supporting people's lives."

That is why DMW Group is committed to sustainability management that creates value together with our stakeholders. For example, we use our proprietary technology to provide our customers with safe, high-quality, and useful products and services, and we work to reduce the burden on the Environment. With our business partners, we strive to build long-term, stable relationships of trust by complying with laws and regulations that maintain fair and free trade, and by conducting business that respects human rights throughout the entire supply chain. Furthermore, we strive to achieve solidarity and harmony with local Social Responsibility through close communication. We believe that engaging wholeheartedly with all stakeholders in this way is the most important aspect of DMW Group's management.

What role should our company play in supporting Social Responsibility? After constant consideration, we have decided to clearly state and set forth our "Sustainability Policy" and five Materiality. In order to become a sustainable, global company with the purpose of "Enriching Lives and Shaping a Better Future Through Water and Air," we will share our vision with the entire group and work to rebuild our business foundation under the leadership of the Sustainability Committee established directly under the president.

We will continue to hone our technology and work with passion and sincerity to solve various Social Responsibility issues in order to connect to the Social Responsibility of the future. We would like to ask all our stakeholders for your continued understanding and support.

Towards realizing our purpose,
Promoting various ESG measures

In fiscal 2022, we have achieved a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to fiscal 2013 as a result of promoting the use of renewable energy and energy conservation. We will continue to work to further reduce Environment impact by gradually introducing solar power generation equipment and switching to energy-saving equipment at our Mishima facility. In addition, in order to protect and develop our most important asset, our human resources, we are working on a multifaceted approach, including improving employee engagement, developing management and global human resources, and preparing to obtain certification as a Healthy Management Excellent Corporation. Since it takes a lot of time to master the design, manufacturing, and installation techniques of our products, which are each a "one-of-a-kind," we will continue to create a work Environment where employees can continue to work for a long time with peace of mind and to enhance our Developing People, Empowering Growth system to support their personal growth. In addition, in order to further strengthen our relationships of trust both inside and outside the company, we will work to enhance our corporate governance and ensure that employees Compliance .

We have newly established a Sustainability Committee and Sustainability Promotion Office in April 2023. Under the supervision of the Board of Director, we will work with each department to steadily set and monitor goals, promote sustainability management, and think and grow together with our stakeholders.
